ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1 & R2.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to R3 is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent for issuance of patta in her name. She seeks cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the third respondent. The petitioner wants speedy disposal.

4. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent shall enquire into the petitioner's appeal and pass final order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or other. All the contentions of the petitioner are left open.
