PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2020 and consequently, to direct the 1st respondent to take necessary action against the 5th respondent regarding the money swindled under the scheme of MGNREGS for the renovation of Chinnavannan Oorani situated in S.F.No.785 in Vethalai Village, Ramanathapuram District. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that financial irregularities are committed by the 5th respondent and therefore, the petitioner preferred a complaint before the authorities concerned. However, the same has not been taken into consideration, which resulted in filing of the present Writ Petition.

2.In view of the above submission, the 1st respondent is directed to look into the complaint filed by the petitioner and if necessary, initiate further action 2/4

regarding the allegation of alleged financial irregularities committed by the 5th respondent.
