This writ petitioner is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the second respondent to register the case based on petitioner's complainant dated 12.08.2021 and take appropriate action.

2. Even though in the nature of relief sought in this petition writ of mandamus will not lie, the learned Government Advocate would submit that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner enquiry is underway in C.No.C3/2894/2039/2021 and summons have been issued to the petitioner and counter petitioner and enquiry has been undertaken by the District Crime Branch, Virudhunagar, the second respondent herein.

3. Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, he has to appear before the enquiry officer and cooperate with him to complete the enquiry. According, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
