The Tahsildar, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District :Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus by directing the respondent to make entry of the peittioner's patta transfer on the computer website meant for issuance of computer patta maintained in his office in respect of properties situated in Survey Nos. 440/2B2A and 482/1A, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and further direct him to issue a computer patta after making such entry on the strength of the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2016 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to issue computer patta after making necessary entry of the petitioner's name in respect of the property situated in Survey Nos. 440/2B2A and 482/1A, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. To that effect petitioner has also made representation dated 10.05.2016. It is stated that the said representation has not been considered so far.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the said computer patta is very much required for the purpose of paying premium for crop insurance.

3. Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
