: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 25.04.2016 on the file of the respondents and consequently shift the live wire across the residential place of the petitioner's property.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2016 and consequently shift the live wire across the residential place of the petitioner's property. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel, who took notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the son of the petitioner has constructed a residential house at Melmangalam Village in Aranthangi Taluk. The petitioner is now residing in the said house. A new service connection was provided to his neighbour, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

namely, one Tajdeen, to which the line runs across the property of the petitioner's front gate and the steel pipe has been erected nearby the petitioner's compound wall. Therefore, the son of the petitioner has sent several representations to the respondents to shift the live wire across the residential place of the petitioner's property. As no steps were taken, the petitioner again sent yet another representation on 25.04.2016 and the same has also not been considered. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
