ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.07.2021.

2. Heard M/s.Rajamanickam, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.M.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents. Perused the material documents placed on record.

3. During the pendency of the writ petition, the respondents have considered the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2021 and granted Patta. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that it was brought to the knowledge of the revenue authorities that the suit is pending between the petitioner and the rival claimant, 2/5

namely Natarajan. The Patta was cancelled as on date. This is evident from the proceedings, dated 25.07.2023. After cancelling the Patta issued in the name of the petitioner, the revenue authorities have entered the original name, namely, fh.nuj;jpd rhk;ghd;. The revenue authorities are directed to keep the Patta in the name of fh.nuj;jpd rhk;ghd; itself. After disposal of the suit, the parties right will be determined based on the out come of the suit and thereafter, the revenue authorities will act accordingly.

4. With these directions and observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
