This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018 and to change the name of the father of Page No. 1 of 4

minor Nisma Banu as Akbar instead of Khaja Mohaideen and issue a fresh Birth Certificate.

2. Mr.K.R.Kishore Ram, learned counsel, appears and submits that Mr.V.Singan, learned counsel on record for the petitioner died. There is no representation for the respondent.

3. Although the learned counsel for the petitioner died and there is no representation for the respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018 and pass appropriate orders to change the name of the father of minor Nisma Banu. This exercise shall be carried out by the respondent, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
