2. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue a Death Certificate of Muthukaruppan, who died on 09.02.1965, by considering the petition, dated 04.12.2017, within a time frame.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's petition, dated 04.12.2017.

4. Recording the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's petition dated 04.12.2017, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
