ORDER
The petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to issue a Death Certificate to his uncle, namely Karuppiah who died on 10.02.1975, by considering the application made by petitioner on 04.12.2017, has filed this writ petition.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is not the blood relative of the deceased and he has not produced any records to prove that he is legal heir of the deceased. Hence, the application made by the petitioner was rejected on 12.10.2018 and the same was communicated to the petitioner.
4.Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order dated 12.10.2018, if he is so advised. No costs.
