ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 363, 387, 506(ii) and 109 IPC, in Crime No.245 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case against the petitioner is that the petitioner and other accused had snatched 345 grams of gold jewels and looted a sum of Rs.20,000/- and one I-Phone from the victim. 3.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the property was already recovered. The major portion of the investigation is already over and prayed the petitioner to be released on anticipatory bail.

4.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that totally 9 accused involved in the offence. The petitioner is A1 and he demanded Rs.50,00,000/- from the victim and the property involved as 325 grams of gold jewels, Rs.20,000/- and one Phone. The petitioner is having 31 previous cases. He is an habitual offender and the prosecution raised serious objections for the release of the petitioner.

5.Considering the nature of the offence and on considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
