ORDER
There was no appearance for the petitioner on 25.01.2022 and hence this matter was directed to be listed 'for dismissal' today, when also, the petitioner is called absent.
2.That apart, Mr.Veera Kathiravan, learned Additional Adovcate General appearing for Mr.V.Om Prakash, learned Government Advocate would point out that the prayer is not liable to be granted, on merits.

W.P.[MD]No.21512 of 2018 3.The petitioner prays for a mandamus directing the respondents to provide the benefit of reservation of 10% of vacancies in the Ministerial Staff of police department for dependents of serving police personnel as per recruitment notification dated 28.12.2017.
4. The aforesaid reservation has itself been held to be unconstitutional by a Division Bench of this Court by order dated 13.02.2018 in W.A(MD).No.1241 of 2017. A Review Application filed as against the said order has also been dismissed in Rev.Aplc(MD). No.192 of 2018 dated 30.01.2019.
5.Recording the aforesaid and as there is no merit in this writ petition, the same is dismissed. No costs.
