ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 2 to 5 to provide necessary police protection to the 2/5

petitioner for their mobile phone tower installation and operation work in the premises comprised in Survey No.113/3A1B and 113/3B1B admeasuring an extent of 900 Sq.ft situated at Vilangudi Bit I, Madurai - 625018 and premises comprised in Survey No.39/2A1, Plot No.467 - Type LIG, admeasuring an extent of 800 Sq.ft., situated at Thathaneri Village, Madurai North, Madurai District, forthwith on the basis of the two complaints dated 20.03.2026 and 11.03.2026, lodged by the petitioner before the respondent No.5.

The learned Government Advocate submitted that if necessary payment is made in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019, the respondent police shall consider the petitioner's request. He further submitted that necessary permission has been already obtained by the petitioner from the first respondent / District Collector.

3. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the above submission, respondent police is directed to provide necessary protection for installation of towers on payment of fee in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019, by the petitioner.
