ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to investigate the case in Crime No.318 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent and final a final report.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son one Murugesan died in a suspicious circumstances. Hence, she filed a complaint before the second respondent police. Based on the complaint, a F.I.R. has been registered in Crime No.318 of 2019 for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. Even though the F.I.R. was registered on 09.07.2019, so far no investigation has been conducted and also not examined any witnesses.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that now the investigation is in progress and the second respondent police is awaiting for postmortem report and viscera report and on receipt of the same, they will file a final report within a period of one month.

4. Considering the fact that the investigation is already commenced, the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.318 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
