Respondents Prayer: The petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate then put up survey stone in S.No.3A1B, 3A2A in Vediyarendal Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the land in Survey Nos.3A1B, 3A2A at Vediyarendal Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard Mr.R.M.Arun Swaminathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.In order to survey and demarcate the boundary of the petitioner's land at Survey Nos.3A1B, 3A2A at Vediyarendal Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District, the petitioner has made an application on 22.11.2018 and on that date itself, necessary fee has been paid and challan to that effect issued by the respondent has also been produced by the petitioner before this Court. 4.Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if the said representation / application made by the petitioner dated 22.11.2018 to survey and demarcate the land in question of the petitioner is decided by the respondent especially, the first respondent on merits and within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.17707 of 2019 5.Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said representation / application along with the fee receipt to survey the land of the petitioner would be decided by the first respondent within a time frame and orders would be passed thereon.

6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Writ petition with the following direction:

That the respondents especially, the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation / application of the petitioner dated 22.11.2018 for conducting the survey and demarcate the land in question of the petitioner and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With this direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
