ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 379 I.P.C. r/w Section 21(1) of Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation), Act, 1957, in Crime No.980 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners said to have illegally transported half unit of river sand by using TATA ACE. Hence, a case has been registered.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side)appearing for the respondent Police.

4.In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.13334 of 2020 etc., batch, dated 03.09.2020 by the Principal Bench of this Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD).No.14081 of 2020 at Madras, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
