ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to give adequate Police protection to the petitioner. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 3 to 5 are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and assaulted him with hands and wooden logs. In the above circumstances, he has given a complaint before the second respondent Police seeking for Police protection. But, his complaint was not considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that there is a civil dispute between the father and son, now the third respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

also has given a complaint against the petitioner. Now these complaints are pending enquiry and the second respondent Police is only conducting the enquiry and not harassing the petitioner. 4.Considering the fact that already enquiry is pending on the complaint given by the petitioner and also another complaint is filed against him, now, at this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. The Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.
