This Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C. Praying this court, to issue a direction, directing the 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for SC/ST (PA) Act Cases), Trichy to consider the petitioners bail application on the same day of his surrender in Crime.No.33 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Puthunatham Police Station, Trichy District and pass such further or other order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.T.Lenin Kumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.V.Neelakandan, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge (Special Court for SC/ST (PA) Act Cases), Trichy to consider the petitioners' bail applications on the same day of their surrender in Cr.No.33 of 2020 dated 11.03.20020 and this Court by order dated 21.05.2020 passed an order with a direction to the petitioners to surrender before the trial Court within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the 3rd petitioner met with an accident, due to which, the petitioners were not able to file petition jointly before the Court below, within the stipulated time. Hence, the petitioners have come before this Court with this present Criminal Miscellaeneous Petition.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the reason stated by the petitioners, time is extended till 22.12.2020. The petitioners are directed to appear before the trial Court on or before 22.12.2020 for surrender, without fail.
4.Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
