ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(b) of NDPS Act in Crime No.86 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on receipt of secret information, the police party went near M.Perumalpatti, where, on seeing the police party, the first accused tried to run away from the place, however, A1 was caught hold by the police and also recovered 2.2kgs of ganja from him and based on the confession of A1, the petitioner has been implicated in this case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in this case and on seeing police party, he ran away from the place of occurrence.

5.It is seen that already anticipatory bail granted by this Court vide order dated 19.06.2020 made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6444 of 2020. However, the petitioner did not execute sureties and hence, he filed this petition. Considering the nature of offence, the overt act attributed against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file extension of time petition.
