This petition has been filed seeking transfer of M.C.No.1 of 2018 from the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, Madurai District to the file of the Family Court, Madurai.

2. On 09.07.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner. The Registry was directed to call for a report with regard to the stage of the above said case from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur in pursuance to which a reply has been sent wherein it has been mentioned that the case is listed for recording the ex-parte evidence on the side of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner has remained ex-parte before the trial court. Since there is no representation for the petitioner for the last 2 hearings, this petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
