COMMON JUDGMENT [Judgment of the Court was delivered by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent in all these appeals states that the prosecution under Prevention of Money Laundering Act does not survive, in view of the acquittal in the predicate schedule offence following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Vijay Madhanlal Choudhary Vs. Union of India and others reported in 2022 SCC Online SC 929. Therefore, the appeals have become infructuous. Hence, these Civil Miscellaneous Appeals are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
