ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused persons, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 420 of IPC in Crime No.not known, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the defacto complainant lodged a complaint before the respondent police stating that she is the owner of the property and the petitioners grabbed the same by creating forged documents, thereby cheated the defacto complainant. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

No.12212 of 2023 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Vennila stating that the petitioners impersonated one Seethalakshmi and Ponnusamy have created some documents. On the basis of the above said complaint enquiry is undertaken in SP/G3/1645/11238/23. During the course of enquiry, the petitioner appeared once and they undertook to produce the documents. But they failed. The above said complaint was given on 08.05.2023.
4.Since the case of impersonation is alleged, let the complaint given by the defacto complainant dated 08.05.2023 be enquired and complete the same within a period of fifteen days from the date of appearance of the parties. The petitioners shall appear before the respondent police and co-operate them to complete the enquiry. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioners may workout their remedy in appropriate manner. Granting of anticipatory bail at this stage may not be proper. 5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
