This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 605 of 2016 dated 02.04.2016 on the file of the first respondent under Sections 323, 354 and 355 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and quash the same as illegal.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 605 of 2016 and also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai on 21.07.2017 itself.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
