ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue patta in respect of Old Survey No.499, new Survey No.1713/part, Kottaiyurnattar, G Block Plot No.52 to the petitioner on the basis of the representation dated 23.11.2015.

2. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

4. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased a land in Survey No.1713/part by way of a registered sale deed, dated 11.03.2013. For want of separate patta, the petitioner made a representation, dated 23.11.2015 before the second respondent. However, the second respondent has not taken any action so far. Hence, he has filed the present Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.11.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing of other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
