O R D E R
The Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnor for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.22409 of 2022 dated 25.01.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the contemnor would submit that Office of the Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Section, Madurai City has sent a letter dated 28.07.2023 to the Assistant Director / Immigration, Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India requesting that the Look Out Circular (LOC) maintained against Arunachalam, S/o.Srinivasan may be deleted. In pursuance of the same, the Bureau of Immigration has passed an order dated 01.08.2023 that the request for deletion of LOC(s) as against Arunachalam has been completed.
