:
Mr.P.T.Thiraviyam Government Advocate For Respondents in all the W.As. :
Mr.B.Saravanan Senior Counsel for Mr.D.Kirubakaran COMMON JUDGMENT [Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] The dispute involved in these Writ Appeals are directly covered by the decision of us in W.A.(MD)No.310 of 2023, dated 27.03.2023 [The Commissioner of Land Administration vs. A.Xavier]. The attempted Special Leave Petition in S.L.P.(Civil)No.13168 of 2023 has also been dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 10.07.2023.
2. Mr.P.T.Thiraviyam, learned Government Advocate would however, contend that the respondents in these Writ Appeals are not eligible for assignment. The said question was also addressed in the earlier proceedings and
assignment was directed after payment of the land cost. Hence, we see no ground to interfere with the orders of the Writ Court. The Writ Appeals fail and they are accordingly, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
