CRL OP(MD). No.11363 of 2019 case of job racketing. The petitioner is said to have played the role of meditator and collected a substantial sum of money from the defacto complainant. The petitioner's defence is that he had in turn passed on the money to one Kanava Kannan. Since the allegations are serious, the petitioner's role will have to be probed by the police, whether it is District Crime Branch, Maduari or Samayanallur Police. This Court cannot take at face value the statement made by the petitioner. I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner and the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
