PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue direction to the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of S.C and S.T.(Prevention of Atrocities) Act cases, Pudukottai to accept the surrender of the petitioner in connection with the Crime No.253 of 2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and to consider and dispose the bail application filed by the petitioner on the same day on merits.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Special Judge for Special Court for Exclusive Trial of S.C and S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act cases, Pudukottai to accept the surrender of the petitioner in connection with Crime No.253 of 2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and to consider and dispose of the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on the same day on merits.

2.It is seen that the earlier petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.7477 of 2021 has been allowed, by the order dated 20.07.2021. Again, this petition came to be filed on the ground that the petitioner has not surrendered before the trial Court and has not produced the sureties, within the time prescribed by this Court. That cannot be a matter for consideration, for filing the second petition. The petitioner is at liberty to file extension of time petition in the aforesaid Criminal Original Petition, if he is so advised.
