Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the petitioners representation dated 04.06.2025 requesting the respondents no.1 and 2 to consider the recommendation made by the 3rd respondent on 24.03.2025 requesting to grant approval for the petitioners promotion Post of Librarian in the 3rd respondents 1/5

college.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2025, wherein the petitioner requested that the recommendation made by the third respondent on 24.03.2025, seeking approval for the petitioner's promotion to the post of 'Librarian' in the third respondent's college.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a 2/5

direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2025, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the first respondent to consider the same on its own merits.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
