O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to pay the petitioners' arrears of salary with applicable interest on behalf of the fourth respondent, pursuant to the petitioners' representation dated 12.04.2021.

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners that he had inadvertently filed a memo, dated 02.07.2024, to delete the name of the fourth respondent from the array of party respondents in this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would now submit that the fourth respondent is a necessary party for the effective adjudication of this writ petition and therefore, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the memo dated 02.07.2024 (referred supra). He also seeks liberty of this Court for the petitioners to give a fresh representation to the respondents seeking for the very same relief, which was earlier sought for by the petitioners in their earlier representation dated 12.04.2021, which is the subject matter of this writ petition and he also seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be

fixed by this Court. No prejudice will be caused, if such liberty is granted to the petitioners and such direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of the petitioners' fresh representation on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to give a fresh representation to the respondents with regard to the grievance raised by them in their earlier representation dated 12.04.2021, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter. No costs.
