ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a direction, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2015 and pass orders to allot a petty shop to the petitioner.

2.According to the petitioner, he is a visually disabled person with 100% disability and the Government of Tamil Nadu also issued a Disability Certificate to the petitioner. Now, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent/Municipality to allot a small piece of land to enable him to put up a Bunk shop. He also made a representation to the respondent in this regard on 03.12.2015. Sofar, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the records carefully.

4.Mr.Athimoola Pandian, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit the respondent is ready to consider the petitioner's representation, if a direction is given by this Court.

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner is a visually disabled person, the respondent/Municipality is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.12.2015 and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
