The petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Illuppur on 29.12.2022 to cancel the patta No.797 stands in the name of the third respondent. With a grievance that the appeal preferred by this petitioner has not yet been disposed of, the petitioner has approached this Court for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 29.12.2022.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the appeal filed by the petitioner was already taken on file in O.Mu.10521/2022/A5, dated 10.01.2023 and it is under consideration of the first respondent. 2/4

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the appeal preferred by the petitioner was already taken on file and it is pending for disposal, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
