Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the official respondents 1 to 3 to forbear the respondents from conducting the festival of Kuthirai Eduppu and other festival in patta land in S.F.No.32/2 with an extent of 3.87 acres of Erukkalakottai Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District in the light of Civil Court Judgment decree in O.S.No.9 of 2000 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Aranthangi. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to forbear the private respondents from conducting the festival of "Kuthirai Eduppu" and other festival in the patta land in S.F.No.32/2 situated at Erukkalakottai Village, Aranthangi Taluk,

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the private respondents have not approached the respondent Police seeking any permission for conducting the festival of "Kuthirai Eduppu" and therefore, 2/4

there is no necessity for the petitioner to ask the abovesaid relief.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 25.07.2024 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
