2 W.P.(MD)NO.18347 OF 2020 Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the official respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments made by the private respondents in survey Nos.26/3 and 20/5 which are Government poramboke lands in Michaelpatti Cuspa, Vakkampatti Village of Aathur Taluk and properly maintain the road and cart track passing through these survey numbers enabling the villagers to reach their agricultural lands in the village, without any encroachment.

The stand of the respondents is that all the encroachments mentioned in the writ petition have been removed. The petitioner's counsel has not disputed the said assertion.
