ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 379 of IPC and Section 21(iv) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.180 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The prosecution case is that the petitioner has illegally transported 2 1⁄2 units of river sand. Hence, the complaint. 3.It is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner is having three previous cases in Crime Nos.175 of 2017, 46 of 2019 of Kallal Police Station, (ii) Crime No.34 of 2015 of Chettinadu Police Station.

4. Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
