Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.I.SABEER MOHAMED, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11661 of 2020 dated 16.10.2020.
2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 16.10.2020 and after a period of one year, this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
