06.05.2024, for the offence under sections 294(b), 324, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.74 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The defacto complainant is a north Indian and working in the Natchiar Engineering Works Company. The petitioner is running a Panipoori shop nearby the above company. The defacto complainant is regularly visiting the petitioner's shop to eat panipoori and hence, they became known to each other. On 05.05.2024, the petitioner and the defacto complainant went to a TASMAC Bar on Tirunelveli to Kulasekarapattinam road to consume alcohol. At that time, the petitioner and the other accused persons threatened the defacto complainant and snatched a sum of Rs.500/- and a cell phone worth Rs.1000/-. Hence, the case. 3.When the earlier petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.9149 of 2024 came up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has reported that the petitioner is having five previous cases in his credit. Considering the bad antecedent of the petitioner, the earlier petition was dismissed.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature of offence, the antecedent of the petitioner and also considering that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. 2/3
