ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.03.2016 within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. 2.According to the petitioner, his wife one Mrs.Ammakannu died on 21.01.2015 in a fire accident and under the Chief Minister's Uzhavar Pathukappu Thittam, 2011, the petitioner is entitled for compensation. Hence, he made a representation before the respondents on 16.03.2016.

After receipt of the representation, the first respondent/District Collector also directed the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass orders. Sofar, no order has been passed. In the above circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the material documents carefully.

4.Taking into consideration of the fact that the representation of the petitioner is pending from 16.03.2016, the second respondent/Special Tahsildar, Chief Minister's Uzhavar Pathukappu Thittam, 2011, Pattukottai, Tanjore District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
