Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to call for the records pertaining to the charge sheet in S.C.No.117 of 2015 for an alleged offence under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 354, 307 of IPC, Section 3 of TNPPDL Act and Section 4 of TNPHW Act on the file of the District and Sessions Court (Mahila), Madurai and quash the same as illegal against the petitioners.

ORDER

The petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 to 10, are facing trial in S.C.No.117 of 2015 on the file of the District and Sessions Court (Mahila), Madurai, for an alleged offence under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 354, 307 of IPC, Section 3 of TNPPDL Act and Section 4 of TNPHW Act. They have moved this petition seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.117 of 2015 pending against them.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have entered into a compromise and a joint compromise memo has also been filed before this Court. Therefore, the petitioners have moved this petition on the ground of compromise.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that apart from the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant, nine injured witnesses are also 2/4

there.
