ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to consider his representation dated 03.07.2024 for providing adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the third respondent in respect of the property dispute and thereby, he sent a representation from the year 2021, but no action was taken. Lastly, he sent a representation on 03.07.2024 to the second respondent. However, no action was taken. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the third respondent, they registered a case in Crime No.85 of 2024 against the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation and the same is pending.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the third respondent, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.07.2024, after affording opportunity to both sides, and dispose of the same, within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
