PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, PCR Court, Thanjavur, to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the same day on merits in relating to Cr.No.246 of 2026 dated 04.06.2026 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in crime No. 246 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender.
2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, PCR Court, Thanjavur, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in crime No.246 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.
3. The petitioners shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 23.06.2026.
4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
