2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint received from the petitioner/defacto complainant, a case has been registered against the accused for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(2) IPC and on completion of the investigation, charge sheet is filed in C.C.No.725 of 2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate - II, Kovilpatti. According to the petitioner, he is a senior citizen and aged about 68 years, thereby sought for a direction for early disposal of the case in C.C.No.725 of 2022. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the accused is recently appeared before the Court on receipt of the summons and the charges are yet to be framed. There are totally 7 witnesses. 4.Considering the circumstances that the case is registered in the year 2022 and the accused also appeared, keeping in view of the representation of the petitioner that the petitioner is a senior citizen, the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Kovilpatti, is directed to dispose of C.C.No.725 of 2022 within a period of six 2/4

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The prosecution is also hereby directed to cooperate for the enquiry. This Petition is disposed of, accordingly.
