Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring the action of the respondents in denying dearness allowance on the petitioner's family pension as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to effect the payment of dearness allowance on the petitioners family pension with effect from the date of death of her husband Late.R.Kannan and to pay the dearness allowance arrears on family pension together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum payable from the dated of death of the petitioner's husband within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Contempt Petition is filed for non-compliance of the order of this Court dated 12.06.2018, made in W.P.(MD)No.12481 of 2018, wherein this Court directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018 on merits and in accordance with law.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with and the claim of the petitioner has been rejected, by the proceedings dated 09.10.2019.
3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
