This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the criminal proceedings in Crime No.263 of 2019, on the file of the first respondent.

2.The petitioners are arrayed as Accused Nos.1 to 4 in Crime No.263 of 2019, on the file of the first respondent Police, registered for the offences under Sections 323, 324 and 506 (ii) of the Indian Penal Code. 2 Crl.O.P.(MD) No.11932 of 2019 appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent Police to file a final report within a short time.

4.Considering the above request, the first respondent Police is directed to proceed with the investigation and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
