The petitioner has submitted an application for issuance of a patta for the land in Old Survey No.12-D, New Survey No.10/3 and has approached this Court for a Mandamus to consider his application dated 21.06.2023 within the stipulated time.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that as per the new procedure and a circular issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, they are entertaining all the applications for grant of patta only through online. If the petitioner files an application through online by paying necessary fee of Rs.60/- along with the required documents, the same shall be considered by the respondents within a period of four weeks. 3.Since a new procedure has been adopted by the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2/4
petitioner to submit an application for grant of patta through online along with the requisite fee and relevant documents within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such filing of an application, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders within a period of four weeks from thereon. No costs. 06.07.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
