ORDER

The petitioner with an allegation that the orders of this Court in CRL.OP.(MD)No.89 of 2025 dated 06.01.2025 has not been complied with, has filed this contempt petition.

2.This Court while disposing the above said petition has issued a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report, as expeditiously as possible and no outer limit has been fixed.

3.Though this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition, on verification, it is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that they have collected the specimen signature of the petitioner on 02.07.2025 and taking steps to compare the signature. 4.It appears that the case was registered on 16.02.2024. For the case registered on 16.02.2024, the respondent Police has collected the specimen signature of the petitioner only on 02.07.2025. Therefore, it appears that the respondent Police has not conducted the investigation in 2/4

a proper manner. Therefore, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Trichy to withdraw the case in Cr.No.9 of 2024 from the file of the respondent Police and entrust the same to any other sincere Officer. The investigation in Cr.No.9 of 2024 shall be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
