The prayer in the Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to survey the land in Ayan Punja S.No.309/2 at Poolangulam Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District and to demarcate the same on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2019.
2.Heard Mr.M.Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner, in order to survey the land and demarcate the boundaries at Survey No.309/2 at Poolangulam Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District, has made a representation / application on 14.06.2019 to the respondent i.e, the first respondent. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if the said representation / application is decided by the first respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said representation / application of the petitioner would be decided on merits within a time frame.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein, with the consent of both sides, this Writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the following direction: That the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation / application of the petitioner dated 14.06.2019 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With this direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
