ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 police to take appropriate action as per law in document missing online complaint in CAS 22219240 dated 09.12.2022, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.07.2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has lost his original registered document bearing No.234/1998 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Thirupuvanam. In spite of that, the petitioner has given a complaint before the respondent police to take appropriate action. However, no action has been taken by the respondent police. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that as per the circular issued by the office of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022, who ever files an application for issuance of 2/5

certificate of non traceable of any document or otherwise, the petitioner requires to follow certain requirements as narrated in the said circular memorandum. 4.The petitioner is directed to file an application by following the conditions stipulated in the circular dated 01.04.2022. On making of such application, the respondent police are directed to dispose of the same without any delay and take appropriate action as required. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
