ORDER

(This writ petition is heard through video conference) This petition has been filed seeking direction to file final report in Crime No.600 of 2020 on the file of respondent with a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.600 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(ii) of IPC on 20.12.2020, based upon a direction issued by this Court. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of more than nine months, no progress is made in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) for the respondent would submit that investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) and considering the nature of complaint and the allegations made against the accused persons, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a find report within a period of five https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.14491 of 2021 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
