ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to re-call the Non-Traceable Certificate issued by them dated 15.10.2022 in connection with Document No.848/1990 on the file of the Join-II SubRegistrar, Karaikudi. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the Non-Traceable Certificate was issued by the Sub Inspector of Police, Karaikudi, without proper enquiry which has caused hardship to the petitioner. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the Inspector of police, Karaikudi has already sent a communication to the Sub-Registrar, Karaikudi, stating that the Non-Traceable Certificate issued by the Sub Inspector of Police is without any basis and that the Sub-Registrar need not act upon the said certificate.

4.In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for adjudication. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 07.11.2025 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No cp TO 1.The Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai.
