The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of the Tamilnadu Scheduled Commodities (Regulation of Distribution by Card System Order and Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of the Essential Commodities Act, in Crime No.101 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that no case has been registered against the petitioner. He further submitted that the respondent Police issued C.S.R number. However, if the petitioner appear for enquiry, she will consider and dispose of the case in accordance with law.

3.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
